Do you ever find that you are drawn to the designs of a particular artist? With so many designs in the Silhouette Design Store, I love the new option of setting up “favorite artists.” Let me show you how it works.

Selecting favorite artists
- To select a favorite artist, make sure you are signed in to the design store.
- At the top of the webpage, click on Artists.
- Scroll down and click on the name of the artist you’d like to choose as a favorite.
- You’ll see only that artist’s designs now. In the left column, where the filters are, you will see a bit about the artist at the top and the normal filters below that.
- Click Follow This Artist and the banner changes to Following.
You can also follow the artist by clicking the star under their name on the Artists page.
- Now when you click on Artists at the top of the page, your favorites will be at the top.
Or if you open the filters at the left, you can click on the arrow beside Favorite Artists there to limit your search to only designs by that artist.
That’s helpful if you want to use other filters such as design type. For example, I can put Christmas in the search box, check the box beside my favorite artist and also beside 3D crafts. That means I would see only 3D Christmas designs by that artist.
You’ve always been able to do that, but this just saves you time. You don’t have to scroll through the names of all the artists to find the one you’re looking for.
- Once you’ve selected your favorite artists, you can change the order by clicking and dragging them on the Artists page. That keeps your absolute favorites handy at all times.
